Payroll Supervisor/ Konecranes

Payroll Supervisorin Springfield, Ohio. The position is responsible for processing weekly and bi-weekly payrolls from beginning to end. Prepare monthly payroll accounting journal entries. Prepare certified payroll reports, prevailing wage reports, worker’s compensation returns and payroll tax returns. Assist with bank reconciliation report. Prepare payroll account reconciliations. Analyze payroll issues and find solutions for them. Compliance with multi-state payroll withholdings, local withholdings, and wage garnishments. Set up benefit plans taxability and limits.Other qualifications:

•CPP preferred or the desire to attain.

•Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis in Accounting. 7 to 10 years payroll experience.

•Supervisory experience required.

•Experience with ADP web-based software highly preferred.

•Strong knowledge of payroll processes and the accounting cycle.

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

•Must be willing to work overtime.

•Ability to work as a team with others in the department.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
